Florida allows two years to bring a case against a lawyer who has committed legal malpractice. That two years runs from the day you know of both the negligence, and the injury. There are exceptions to the law, but not many. You should consult a lawyer immediately if you think your legal rights have been violated and let him advise you as to whether or not the time to bring the case has expired or whether or not the case can still be brought.
