Passenger recovery from a negligent driver in a Florida auto accident case?

Under Florida law, the person driving the at fault vehicle is liable for any injuries he causes as a result of an accident which occurred as a result of his negligence. Therefore if someone’s driving a vehicle and hits a car with a driver and a passenger in the car and both of those individuals are hit, the driver and the passenger of the vehicle which was not at fault would be able to recover damages for their injuries from the at fault driver.
