Can I Receive Money Even If The Florida Car Accident was My Fault?

Fortunately, Florida statutes, under the personal injury protection section of those statutes, allow individuals who are injured in a car accident to recover a certain amount of money for their medical expenses and lost wages. Particularly, they are entitled to collect up to ten thousand dollars. It’s broken down as eighty percent of that, of their medical bills are entitled to be recovered, and sixty percent of their lost wages, up to a total of ten thousand dollars, regardless of whose fault the accident is. Therefore, even if you cause an accident and you need some medical help or attention, you’re entitled to recover, for that medical help or attention, up to a maximum of ten thousand dollars.
