We firmly believe that when our clients wish to do so and when it is in their best interest, litigation may be avoided. To this end, we may attempt to settle cases prior to initiating litigation. However, when litigation is necessary and in our clients' best interest, you can expect to receive the best possible representation. Our personal injury and medical malpractice cases which are litigated are handled by our firm's litigation attorneys, each of whom has extensive experience litigating and trying such cases. You will be kept aware of all stages of the litigation and will be continuously counseled and prepared throughout the proceedings. Our firm is also comprised of our support staff of seven paralegals, each with an average of ten years legal experience handling injury cases. Each of our clients is assigned to a specific paralegal, who along with the attorney handling that case, is available to assist the client through the litigation process. We encourage our clients to contact the paralegal or attorney handling their case if they have any questions or information relative to their specific case. We pride ourselves in being available to service each client or referring professionals in an efficient, informative and professional manner.
We are proud of the fact that many of our firm's larger cases are referred by physicians and attorneys who have previously dealt with our firm. We welcome all referrals and treat all clients referred with the knowledge that satisfying their expectations is also a positive reflection upon the professional who may have referred them to our office.
Because of our firm's long-term involvement in the community, we frequently provide assistance to our clients and refer them to professionals practicing in fields other than our area of expertise when asked for a recommendation by our clients. We are amenable to co-counseling cases with referring attorneys who may not have the expertise, resources, time or inclination to handle a claim involving an injured client. If a case referred to our firm by an attorney is accepted by us, we are happy to pay a participating attorney an appropriate co-counsel fee as permitted by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the Florida Bar.
